The welfare and safety of our residents and colleagues is always our priority. The recent outbreak of coronavirus has heightened the need to take more steps to protect everyone in our home.
We are taking every possible step to prevent a case at our home but we are also prepared should this happen.
We are now currently restricting visitors to Nova House. We understand that contact with loved ones is an important factor in the lives, however, we need to ensure their continued safety and wellbeing. To greatly support our efforts to protect our residents we have increased our restrictions on visitations and ask that careful consideration is given before attempting to visit our home. We will always try and adapt to exceptional circumstances and individual requirement.
Group visits from the local community into the home have now been cancelled for the foreseeable future, as have outings to large or well populated settings and visitors with pets or children. Normal visiting is highly restricted for the time being However, socialization will continue to be an important aspect of daily life in Nova House with our staff ensuring that our residents have as much social interaction and entertainment as possible.
Essential medical visits will continue to be made, and our staff will ensure that any visitors that do come into the home are made aware of interim visiting requirements.
